DON’T CALL ME A MYTH.

1991.  Oil (60" X 28”).

ARTIST COMMENT:  Violence is endemic in America and finds a natural breeding ground within the status quo.  Poor whites have always been used to prevent the rise of Blacks. Typically the Republicans in recent years have used the race card to gain control of congress.  Since this painting two rednecks lynched a Black man by dragging him with their pickup truck.  Beneath the wholesome cowboy lurks the renegade racist.
