NRC’S CHOO-CHOO.

1991.  Oil (44 X 18”).  Nfs.

ARTIST’S COMMENT:

Rumors of building a nuclear plant in town [Plymouth] were denied.  Shortly after, the public learned that construction plans had been years in the making.  The building began and public meetings were held.

A vice-president came to a town meeting to assure the plant’s safety and assure us there would be no additions plants.

“If there is to be no other, why is this plant to be called PILGRIM I?” someone asked.  Of course it wasn’t long before plants II and III were constructed.  Business as usual.
